Disney Illusion Islandhas three expansive regions for you to explore, all with several zones that are filled with Collectibles to gather and even hidden areas that can lead to even more valuables to collect. And, to help make your journey a bit more manageable, you can findMap Piecesfor each zone that willoutline all the paths you’ve yet to explore.

Not only does this make exploration far less daunting, but it may also give you an idea of where that pesky Collectible is that you cannot seem to find or where a hidden area might be located, and much more.Map Pieces are a crucial Collectiblethat should be sought out as early as possible.
Map Piece #1: Forgotten Farmlands
This is thefirst Map Pieceyou will receive and isunmissableas you willreceive it when progressing throughtheThings Are Looking Up Questwhen youmeet Jido for the first time!
Map Piece #2: Downtown Gizmopolis
Thesecond Map Pieceis obtainableafter you acquire the Ground Pound Abilityfrom Mazzy during theA Large Downwards Force Quest.After obtaining that Ability, you will betasked to head back to the Library.
As youdescend downward with your new Ability,you willcome across a Checkpoint near a bounce pad that looks like the yolk of an eggwitha breakable floor on the leftof it.DO NOT break through the floorquite yet. Instead,jump onto the bounce pad and head to the area aboveit.
Here, you will see aBell in the middle of the floor.Jump onto it to trigger the platformto move above you anduse the bounce from the Bell to land onto it,thenleap to the area on your leftwith the enemy that burrows underground before suddenly reappearing and launching projectiles.
Abreakable floor will be here,sosmash through itand descend into the area below. Once here, there will beyet another floor you’re able to break throughwith aneon pizza signbehind it,Ground Poundthrough it, andfind Jido waiting for youwith yourMap Piece!
Map Piece #3: Terrarium Town
After obtaining theSwing Ability,you mustgather three Keys for the Locked Doorin theA Novel Journey Quest.When you’redone speaking with Mumblefink,take thebounce pad to the rightof him andhead toward the northwestuntil you reach thefirst Checkpoint.
From here,continue west until you see another Checkpointandthe first Key to the area to the leftof it. Instead of going there,head northtofind a hidden area beneath a breakable floor.Use yourGround Pound Abilityto smash through it, thenfollow the path to the west.
Use yourSwing Abilitytoreach the area above you,thenhead east to find a teeter-totterwith aweighted bag on the right sideof it.Ground Pound the lifted endtolaunch the bag high into the air,causing it tocrash down, launching youinto the air.
With theheight gainedfrom getting launched,land on the platform to your left,thenuse the hook to Swing into the secret area to your left,marked by asmall notch on the red leaves.Enter tosee Jidoyet again to get anotherMap Piece!
Map Piece #4: Crater’s Bay
Aftercompleting the Thief #2 boss encounter,headeast from its arena,thendrop down until you see an area to the westwith acouple of Venus Fly Trap platforms overtop a row of spikes.Quicklyjump across the Venus Fly Traps,thenSwing your way to the far leftof the room.
From here,Swing on the last hook,thenWall Jump off the left wall and onto the blue bounce pad aboveyou. From there, you will see alarge pink wall with a notch taken outof it.Enter the hidden roomto findJidoand collect yourMap Piece!
Map Piece #5: Crescent Hamlet
Another easy-to-find Map Piece is the one for theCrescent Hamletand can be yours during theFirst Class Enquiry Quest.Afterrestoring the Mail Railz,you mustride across a long yellow railto the next area.
However,if you drop below the Mail Rail and head to the left,you will find asmall notch removed from the brown wall,indicating a secret area here.Enter the secret areato discoverJidoyet again, who will give you yourMap Piece!
Map Piece #6: The Sky Below
Thesixth and final Map Pieceis located inThe Sky Belowand can be yours during theInto The Sky Below Quest.As you’reswimming through the Moon Juice,your task will be to ‘Deep Dive To The Bottom,’ but where youactually want to go is to the northeast portionof the map.
Here, you will find abreakable wall you can smash throughvia yourDeep Dive Ram Ability,leading you to aCheckpoint.Once here,head west until you find a hookyou canSwingfrom.Jump off to the rightandWall Jump to reach the platform aboveyou.
In thenext area,you will see aHeart Boxand asmall notch on the environment behindit.Go behind the boxtoreveal a hidden areaandJido,allowing you to claim yourfinal Map Piece!
