Making friends with your neighboring townsfolk is a pivotal part ofStory of Seasons: A Wonderful Life. Farming is of course a central component of your new life here in Forgotten Valley, but no farming sim would be complete without a handful of endearing locals to color the town and keep you company.

In this guide, we’ve pinned down all Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life character schedules to help you find the Forgotten Valley resident you’re looking for. The townsfolk follow relatively set schedules, meaning it’s pretty easy to find the townsfolk in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life.
Vesta’s Farm - Vesta, Matthew, Cecilia, And TakakuraVesta
A hardworking farmhand, you’llrarely find Vesta off the farm. This usually only happens ondays Van is in town.
For the most part, Vesta will bein the fieldtending to her crops,in the storage shedfor a moment away, orinside the farmhousetoward the end of the day.
On days Van visits, Vesta will occasionally go to thewaterfallin the morning, andinto towntoward the end of Van’s selling day before returning home.
Matthew
While you’ll typiclaly find Mattheweither on the farm or walking around it, he’s occasionally also up by thewaterfallon days Van is in town.
Matthew spends hismornings inside the farmhouse, typically leaving in the early afternoon towalk around Vesta’s Farm and the Lower River area.
He sometimes heads to theBluebird Cafefor a bitearound dinnertimebefore returning to the farm once again for the night.
Cecilia
Like Vesta and Matthew, Cecilia isvery rarely off the farm.
She seems to only work part-time, spending themornings inside the farmhousebefore she goes outin the fieldto tend crops for a few hours in theafternoon.
Cecilia will go back inside around dinner, and stay there until going to bed.
The only time this schedule reliably changes iswhen Van visits- you’ll occasionally find her headed to check out his goods, too.
Takakura
Maybe one of the toughest characters to actually pin down,Takakura moves around a lot.
He spends the first part of the day doing errands andgoing to the city to sell your goods, so you might not see him until later in the day.
Once he’s back in Forgotten Valley, though, Takakura is usuallywalking around your farm or Vesta’s Farm, heading intohis cabin on your propertyat the end of the day.
The Dig Site - Carter And Flora
Carter
Carterfollows the same schedule daily unless Van is visiting, which means you’ll almost only ever see Carter at theDig Site.
He spends themorningstretching outside his tentbefore heading downinto the Dig Sitewith Flora shortly before10:00 AM.
He’ll stay down there until roughly 5:00 PM, at which point he goes tohis tent for the eveningor to standby the waterfall.
Carter only wanderswhen Van is in town. He starts his day by theDig Site, heads into town tovisit Van’s shop, and then spends some time atthe beach in the eveningbefore heading back to the tent.
Flora
Like Carter, you’ll typically only see Floraat the DIg Siteas well, though she seems to work shorter hours than Carter.
Flora begins the day in hertentbefore following Carter to theDig Site just before 10:00 AM. She leaves a bit earlier than Carter, though, heading backup to the tent around 3:30 PM.
After this, she’ll be eitherin the tentor overby the waterfall.
This really only changes on days when Van is in town, where you’ll most often see Floraon the bridge between your farm and Vesta’suntil she heads back to the Dig Site for the evening.
The Lei-Over Inn - Rock, Nami, Tei, and Lou
Rock
Rock wakes up pretty late, usually not stirring untilabout noon, and finallyleaving his bedroom around 1:00 PM.
From here, Rock usually spends a bit of timewandering to the Forest or the Bluebird Cafe, though you’ll occasionally see him strolling through town as well.
Rockstays up late, meaning your best times to catch him may beafter 11:30 PMwhen he’s returning home.
This schedule doesn’t much change when Van is in town.
Nami
Nami is maybe the character who’s liable toappear in the most places around town, given that she’s visiting Forgotten Valley as a traveler.
She wakes up at9:00 AMand spends a bit of time in her room, before typicallyhanging out behind the Innfor a while.
After this, she’ll head off in just about any direction - we’ve found Nami inthe Forest,atthe Beach, andby Gustafa’s Yurtplenty of times.
Thankfully, Nami also stays up pretty late, routinelyawake past 11:00 PMhanging outbehind the Inn, before going inside around 12:30 AM.
Tei
Tei is very rarely too far from the Inn. Hespends his mornings at the Innbefore heading out back to check the Inn’ssmall garden behind the building.
He’ll occasionally walk around town for a bit, but Tei will most often beat the Inn- itishis job, after all.
Ondays Van visits, Tei is usually thefirst person waiting when Van opens at noon.
Lou
Lou is pretty easy to track down, given that she’salmost always at the Inn, working away inthe kitchen to the rightwhen you enter.
She does spend some timearound 9:00 AM in Nami’s roombefore heading back downstairs. If she’s not in the kitchen, Lou may be taking ashort walk around the Inn. She also occasionally comesinto the main room of the Inninstead.
Days when Van is in town are still busy for Lou, though - she sticks to her schedule for the most part, but does much morewalking around in the afternoon and eveningthan normal.
The Bluebird Cafe - Molly And Gavin
Molly
With a tight schedule at work, Molly can be a bit tough to pin down. She and Gavin wake up at10:00 AMand spendan hour in the back room at the cafebefore they head out front to get to work.
Molly works from11:00 AM - 4:00 PM, at which point she takes a dinner break and heads over tothe kitchen at the Lei-Over Innuntil roughly5:30 PM, at which point she goesback to work until just after midnight.
When Van is in town, Molly is usually still working, but you’ll still see herwalking in townin the later hours of the afternoon as normal.
Gavin
Gavin has anextremely narrow window of free time each day, as the busy owner of the only restaurant in town.
Like Molly,Gavin wakes up at 10:00 AMand will head out to get the Cafe going for the dayaround 10:30 AM. He stays behind the counter until2:00 PM, at which point hetakes a break in the back room until 4:00 PM.
Gavincloses the Cafe around12:30 AMand will be awake for about an hour afterward.

The Townhouses - First And Second Years
Chris
A businesswoman, Chris can often be seenheaded to the cityin the mornings to get to work, returningin the eveningdown the same Mountain Path through which she left.
When she gets back, she usuallyheads to the Inn before going hometo the Townhouses again for the night. If she’s not at her house, she may be nextdoorat San’s house.
On days whenVan visits, you’ll often find Chris down bythe Twin’s house.
Sully
As a runner,Sully moves around quite a lot, often spending any free timejogging the perimeter of Forgotten Valleybefore or after hegoes to work in the city.
This doesn’t change much when Van visits, either - if he’s not working,Sully is usually running.
Hugh
Though his schedule changes a bit as he grows up, for the most part, Hugh follows asimilar schedule to his dad. Theyjog together in the morning, so you’ll often find Hugh not far behind Sully.
In the afternoons, Hugh will eitherhang out in townor head up intothe Forestto spend time until the later hours of the day, when hereturns hometo either hang out in his room or work out with Sully.
And like his father, Hugh’s schedule doesn’t change much when Van visits, though he’ll visitthe Inn, where you canplay a minigamewith him.
Gary And Nina
Gary’s schedule is different between the first and second years of Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life.
InYear One, the pair are inseparable -wherever you find Gary, you’re likely to find Nina. This is most often foundwalking through town, usually staying in town or heading over to theLower River area.
However,this changes in Year Twoafter Nina passes away. Gary spends his morningsin mourning at the grave sitebefore wandering through town for the afternoon.
He tends tostay out pretty late, all things considered, usuallyreturning home after dark. This also doesn’t change much when Van visits.
San
San moves into the Townhouses with her family in Year Two, but shedoesn’t leave the Townhouse areatoo often.
If San isn’tat home, she’ll likely be eitherjust outside the Townhouses, or up atthe Villapaying a visit. At night, she occasionally goes toChris' house nextdoor.
On daysVan is in town,San will be one of his first customersbefore returning to her pattern of pacing through the same area of town as usual.
Garrett
Garrett is a salaryman, which means heleaves early in the morning and arrives home late at nightafter working long hours in the city.
He’s home for a bit in the morning beforegoing to work around 7:30 AM, and he’ll be gone all day until roughly9:00 PMwhen he walks back home.
Garrett heads from the Mountain Passstraight homeon these nights.
WhenVan is in town, though, he’ll begin his day offon the bridge between your farm and Vesta’sbefore headinginto townto check out Van’s goods in the afternoon with a stop intothe Innaround dinnertime before returning home.
Kate
A curious child at heart, Kate spends a lot of timewandering through Forgotten Valley.
Her favorite spots seem to bein town bythe Bulletin Board, or headed up tothe Forestup the path beside your farm.
Baddoch
InYear One, Baddoch only visits twice each season -he shows up on days Van is in townto check on the patients he’s got in Forgotten Valley.
After Nina passes away, though, Baddochmoves into the Townhouses in Year Two, meaning he’s much more readily available now.
He oftengoes to Gary’s house earlyin the day, and will spend some time on that side of the river before headingback to his Townhouse.
The Villa - Lumina, Romana, And Sebastian
Lumina
Lumina is something of an early riser,spending a few hours in her roomeach morning before going downstairs topractice piano for a few hours.
After piano practice, Lumina usually heads down tothe Twin’s yardto hang out for a while, doing a lap or two between her house and their before returning home.
After this, she’s usually eitherin the main roomat the Villa, orin Romana’s bedroomvisiting.
Romana
Romana is getting on in age and, as such,doesn’t leave the Villa very often.
When she does leave on occasion, she can usually be foundwalking around the Villawith Lumina and Sebastian.
Romana spends a lot of tiemsitting in the rocking chair in her bedroom, at which point you’re unable to give her gifts.
Sebastian
Wherever you find Romana, Sebastian is likely not far behind.Romana and Sebastian are typically in the same place, which is almost always the Villa.
As the butler, Sebastianwaits on Romanathroughout the day, meaning he’ll either bewith Romanawherever she is, orin the kitchenpreparing food for the household.
Gordy’s Yard And Gustafa’s Yurt - Gordy And Gustafa
Gordy
Gordy spends an awful lot of time in the mornings crossing his arms at his house until headingto his sculpture around 10:30 AMeach day.
He’ll spend some time working on his art, until hewalks to the Forest most evenings, taking the path up alongside your farm.
After returning from the Forest, Gordystays in his housefor a while, crossing his arms a bit more before going to bed.
Gustafa
One of the easier schedules to predict, Gustafa isusually outside playing guitar, and not typically far from his own house.
Gustafa’s two favorite places to play guitar areunder a tree between his Yurt and the Inn, or up inthe Forest, sitting next to theGoddess Pond.
He walks home once it gets dark out, and stays awakeinside his housefor quite a while before heading to bed.
All Remaining Townsfolk - Charlie, Cole, Daryl, And Van
Charlie And Cole
Working the same jobs and living together makes it easy forCharlie and Cole to follow pretty much the same schedule.
The Twins are usually eitherin their house or in their yard, really only straying on days Van visits.
On such occasions, you’ll findColeup atthe Villafor the earlier part of the day before he pops intothe Bluebird Cafe at night, whileCharlieseems keen to spend time eitherin Daryl’s yardor down atthe beach.
Daryl
Daryl spendsmuch of his time at his lab, toiling away for the majority of the daytime hours on whatever experiment he’s cooking up next.
After work, though, Daryl will usually eitherhang out in his yard, or evenwalk up to the Forestalongside your farm, where he stayslooking at the Goddess Ponduntil quite late at night.
Van
Van is only available onthe third and eighth day of each season- he’s atraveling salesman, and only visits on aset schedule.
He starts his dayby the waterfallwith Carter before making his way down the riverside on Vesta’s side and into town toset up his shop from 12:00-6:00 PM.
After work, he retires tothe Innbefore being gone again the following day.
