The Widow’s Court is one of many interesting locations you can visit inRemnant 2. While there, you may notice the corpse of one of the Empress’s vanguards. Next to them, there will be an Ornate Key and a note explaining that it fits into a special lockbox.

The body can be in many different places within The Widow’s Court, as its placement is random. However, the lockbox is in one specific location that is very hard to find naturally. You don’t have to spend hours frantically searching The Widow’s Court region to locate it, though. Instead, you may go straight to the following spot.
Where To Find The Ornate Lockbox
you may find the lockboxin The Widow’s Court area. Yet, you need tohead under the castleto reach it.
There are a couple of routes down. Thesafest ones are on either side of the main The Widow’s Court area.
One side includes some ruins with stairs and slopes for you to go down. The other side is a more elevated area containing ladders to climb and gaps to jump.
Simplykeep heading down your chosen side until you reach a place filled with waterthat is directly under a gateway.
Down here, you willfind a chest and a brazier.
Next to the brazier is an illusory wall that you can simply walk through.On the other side of it is a tunnel containing a lift.Step on the elevatorto be taken directly to some royal quarters.
Once you enter, you canfind the lockbox on top of a table.
What To Do With The Ornate Lockbox
There are a few different things you’re able to do with the Ornate Lockbox once you have your hands on it.Here are your options:
To open the box, inspect it in your inventory before hitting ‘interact’ and selecting the Ornate Key.
