A lot of players already became Yukong’s fans when they saw her in the story, and she was also revealed as a playable character releasing in the second half of the Version 1.1 update. You’ll need a bunch of materials to upgrade this four-star Imaginary character.
Yukong Ascension Materials
If you’ve played any previous games from Hoyoverse, you’ll know that they like to divide a character’s upgrade system into different phases. In Honkai: Star Rail, these phases are known as ascensions. you’re able to ascend a character up to six times once you reach the required Equilibrium level by submitting a few materials.
These materials can be farmed for free or byusing a limited resource known as Trailblaze Power.
You’ll have to pay attention to the materials that take this resource so that you don’t end up farming less or more than the required amount.
Here’s a list ofall the materials you’ll need to fully ascend Yukong after you reach Equilibrium level five, which can be achieved at Trailblaze Level 60:

After you reach a certain ascension, you’ll have to use more Credits and character EXP materials toupgrade Yukong to the maximum level of that ascension.
You can only ascend her again once you reach this level. Though you don’t have to upgrade her after the sixth ascension.
You can spend a couple of hours every day to farm all the enemies in the overworld. This will give you a bunch of character EXP,which can be used to get her from 70 to 80 without using the EXP materials. This can save you hundreds of Trailblaze Power, which is a big deal if you’re just starting out.
You can get the required mob drops from the enemies scattered across The Xianzhou Luofu, and theStagnant Shadow can be found in the Backwater Passarea of Jarilo-VI. Credits can be farmed from Calyxes, overworld mobs, events, and Simulated Universe. You can also buy them in the Embers Exchange shop.

You’ll need thrice the materials if you want to get all of Yukong’s abilities to the maximum level.
Although, youdon’t need to upgrade the Skill, Ultimate, and Talent above level eight unless you have a lot of extra resources. You’ll also need some materials to unlock her bonus abilities at specific ascensions and the smaller nodes that give her a direct stat boost. The higher-level nodes will also take some Tracks of Destiny.
you’re able to farm these by playing theSimulated Universe every week, finishing the limited-time events, and heading over to the Embers Exchange shop. To get Destroyer’s Final Road, you’ll have to fight the Doomsday Beast Echo of War in Herta Space Station.
