Like Geralt’s other fancy gatherings, the first step is tofind appropriate attirefor the party. In this instance, you will beguided to a tailorthat sells garments befitting high society engagements. You can access it bytracking the optional objective.It’ll lighten your coin pouch byabout a thousand crowns,though it’ll help you evade barbed comments from the duchess.
Other clothes can work. For example, theOrnate RobefromDead Man’s Partywill draw the duchess' approval. Geralt’s lack of fashion will not stop the investigation andthis objective can be ignored,if you wish.
Once you’re dressed and ready to attend the ball, go to thedesignated spot to wait for the duchess.She’ll arrive at night, just in time to enter the ball.
Participating In The Party

Tracking Down The Cintrian
You areconfronted with the singer’s bodyas soon as you open the door. The duchess immediately leaves to inform Orianna, the event’s organizer, while Geralttries to track the Cintrian down.

While interesting, it quickly turns riveting whenRegis and Dettlaffarrive at the party. The choices in this conversationwill not affect the ending,though they are worth considering carefully.
