With Zonai devices so central toThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you’ll find yourself desperate for more energy before too long. Thankfully, there’s an armor set that helps you consume less energy when using Zonai tech – the Zonaite Armor Set. And while wearing all three pieces, you’ll use a fraction of the energy!

But you’ll have to really want the Zonaite armor – as a remnant of the Zonai, the armor is all pretty high up in the sky. For help finding the location of the Zonaite armor set in Tears of the Kingdom, we’ve got you covered.
This guide contains minor spoilers for events in Tears of the Kingdom.
Where To Get The Zonaite Helm
TheZonaite Helmis located onLightcast Islandhigh in the skies over the Tabantha region - so high that it’sin a low-gravity area, and it’sfreezing. Best be prepared toward off the coldwhen you arrive.
Lightcast Island isjust South of the Rito Villagetoward theTabantha Sky Archipelago. If you’ve hit theGanos Shrinealready, this is your closest access point.
If you haven’t, Ganos Shrine is onthe island West of the “Tabantha Sky Archipelago” labelon your map. It’s not easy to reach fromthe Skyview Towers, so you’ll need to get creative with Zonai tech to reach it.
From here, you’re able to see Lightcast Island in the distanceto the North, but it’s both far away and higher up. You’ll needFansorRockets, and one of theWingssold at the nearby Zonai device dispenser.
Ready a plane(which is pretty simple withthe Autobuild feature), and use it to fly up and over to Lightcast Island.
Attach a Rocket to the bottom of the Wingsto give Link some outright height, then use the Fans to cross over to Lightcast Island).
Once you’ve arrived, there’s a glowingZonai ringonthe Western side of the islandthat you’ll need to activate, whichdrains the waterinto which the light is shining.
Head over to where the light is aiming andbreak the rocksto get into this dark area withtwo mirrors. The goal here is touse the mirrors to direct the light toward the back of this room.
You’ll do this bytraveling between platforms to the left of the entrance,and manuallymoving the mirrors to make the light shine forwardto where you need it, eventually reaching the back of the room.
Shining the light into the center of this back room willcreate a vertical light. Grab a spare Mirror andshine the vertical light at the orange hexagon on the wall to turn it green.
Standjust in front of the hexagonafter it changes to green andAscendup, where you’ll discover a chest with theZonaite Helm.
Before you leave, follow the stairs down toGa-ahisas Shrine.

Where To Get The Zonaite Waistguard
You’ll need aHydrantdevice to get theZonaite Waistguard, and the Zonai device dispenser nearest to the Zonaite armor doesn’t sell them.
Come prepared with a Hydrantto save time. They can be found at the Zonai device dispenser nearby, on the islands in theWest Necluda Sky Archipelago, which also makes for a convenientlaunching platform.
To get to these islands, either warp toUkoojisi Shrineif you’ve activated it already, or fire yourself from thePopla Foothills Skyview Towerand float on over (and activate the shrine while you’re there).
Nearby, you’ll see a hovering platform withseveralRocketsnear it. You needsome serious heightfor this one, so you’ll want toput every Rocket on the platform, but the trick isnot to attach all of them - go one at a time.
You’ll getmore heightif you carefullyuse oneRocketat a time, and you have enough in that pile to get high enough to float to where you need to be.
Once you have the height, Paraglide over to thecircular island with several other circlessticking off of it, landing on the platform that’s at about 2 o’clock if you’re looking at the island from your map.
It’s alow platformwith acircular Zonai ring. Once you’re here,interact with the glowing ring, which will give power to thefansin the stacks nearby.
Using the new wind power,carefully glide up the island using the wind gustsuntil you reach the top.
In the center of this area, you’ll see anopening in the floor that’s full of lasers. The goal here is todive vertically down through the hole without touching the lasers.
The upright wind draft makes it a little tricky to Paraglide here, so you’ll need to be very careful -touching the lasers closes the gate at the bottom, so you can’t just dive downward.
At the bottom of this wind tunnel, though, is a pool ofhealing water. Replenish your hearts when you land if needed, then hop out and activate theYansamin Shrineright at the bottom.
Justbehind the shrine, you’ll see a pool of lava, and this is where your Hydrant device comes into play.Use a Hydrant to make a platform in the lavajust beside the wall, thenjump to it and Ascendup into the wall.

Where To Get The Zonaite Shin Guards
You’re looking to get to theAkkala Sky Minefor theZonaite Shin Guards, which isin the sky islandsover the Rist Peninsulain the Eastern section of the map.
If you’ve unlocked theNatak Shrinein the Sokkala Sky Mine, you may begin from there, but if not, theUlri Mountain Skyview Towerwill shoot you upwards in the right position.
No matter how you get into the sky, head to the series ofplus sign-shaped islandsover the Rist Peninsula with thelarge circular islandnext to them.
When you arrive to the Akkala Sky Mine, you’ll need togo to the lowest levelof it to find aglowing Zonai ringat the bottom prompting you toinvestigate it. Doing soturns on the oversized pusherson the platforms above.
Once the pushers are active, use them toget to the topmost island, from which you’ll have a clear view of thehuge sphere with an opening on the top to the Westof the plus-shaped islands, with severallarge boxesall around.
You’ll need topush the levers herein order to swing the pusher around, so thatthe pusher aligns with the sphere. The goal here is touse Ultrahandto grab one of te boxes, andshoot a box into the opening in the sphere.
Once you’ve done this successfully, use the pusher tofling Link into the sphere, too. Inside,put the block on the lever, which starts the sphere’srotation.
This new pattern allows you tojump out of the spheresafely andre-enter it from the bottomnow that the bottom opening is more accessible.
Float into the bottom, and the treasure chest containing theZonaite Shin Guardsis just inside.
